Alcohol Prohibition in the 1920's
Thesis: From 1920 to 1933 the 18th amendment also known as the Volstead Act banned the sale, manufacture and transportation of alcohol taking away the rights of American citizens to manufacture, sale, or transport alcoholic beverages in the United States. However prohibition was beneficial in some ways because tragedies involving alcohol were less likely to occur.
